PANTONE COLOR OF THE YEAR 2018
“We are living in a time that requires inventiveness and imagination. It is this kind of creative inspiration that is indigenous to PANTONE 18-3838 Ultra Violet, a blue-based purple that takes our awareness and potential to a higher level,” said Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. “From exploring new technologies and the greater galaxy to artistic expression and spiritual reflection, intuitive Ultra Violet lights the way to what is yet to come.”
Enigmatic purples have also long been symbolic of pop and counterculture. Musical icons Prince, David Bowie, and Jimi Hendrix have incorporated shades of Ultra Violet into their aesthetic as personal expressions of individuality. Actually, it’s hard not to think of Prince, who received his own official Pantone hue earlier this year.
The mystical color is associated with mindfulness and connection. The use of a purple-toned lighting in your dining room decor will unify the energy within the room, becoming the perfect color you could use for this division.
In this mostly white-walled room, what caught immediately our attention was the splash of bright purple that adds a pop of color to the dining room decor. By only adding purple pillows, the decor of this space is completely different.
What we are taking away from this masterful space is that you don’t have to be reserved with a color like ultra violet to avoid a chaotic interior. Keep the walls a neutral color and go for purple dining chairs. Dare to live boldly and opt for ultra violet dining rooms!

Sexy, Slender, Sleek, Sly, Sweet, is what this letter is all about. The neon-lit pink core creates a serene and lovely mood in a dark interior. The purple violet color is mixed with the polished stainless steel to create a prodigious contrast. Well, our guess it that purple dining room lighting is going to be one of our favorite interior design trends 2018.
